Mauro Casalese

VP of Production / Partner

Atomic Cartoons’ co-founder, Mauro Casalese, has been working in the animation field, professionally for the past 20 years.

Upon graduating from the prestigious classical animation course at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, he went on to work in Dublin, Ottawa, Los Angeles and finally settling in Vancouver, BC. Mauro has worked as an animator, designer, storyboard artist and director on such shows as The Ren and Stimpy Show, Woody Woodpecker, The Baby Huey Show, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and many others before co-founding Atomic Cartoons.

Mauro currently wears many hats at Atomic Cartoons, and oversees all projects as it’s supervising director. Since Atomic’s founding he’s gone on to co-create Atomic Betty and work on such shows as Captain Flamingo; Chuck Jones’ Timberwolf; Stanley; Cosmic Cowboys; Ed, Edd and Eddy; to name a few.
