PICCA Fest
Atomic Cartoons President, Trevor Bentley and VP of Production, Mauro Casalese were invited to attend the 2009 PICCAFest in Manila, Philippines. Both were on hand as representatives of the Canadian animation scene and as studio owners who do business in the Philippines. Since the success of our Philippine/ Canada Co-production Captain Flamingo and subsiquent productions like Johnny Test, Car Talk and World Of Quest we had a great opportunity to share our experiences with producers in Manila.
Mauro and Trevor gave a presentation at the D.A.P. (Development Academy of the Philippines) as well as attending the awards ceremony and various events around Metro Manila. We were very welcome and had a fantastic time. Many thanks to the event organizers and a special thanks to Boboy Yonzon and Mimbi Eloriaga.
It was a lot of fun and we look forward to doing it again next year.
